Hey, I'm looking for a good XBOX (not 360) golf game. Anyone have any opinions as to the best game? I've heard Tiger Woods is good, but???

I actually have this game, it's quite a lot of fun! I have the PC version (bigger screen) and have spent many a happy hour on it!

Tiger Woods is awesome also, not like real golf, but a great game!

Speaking of real golf, went out today for the first time this year, 9 over on the front 9 and 6 on the back! tongue.gif

Unfortunatrly, I think Tiger is about it for decent golf games for XBOX. The game is way too damn easy and gets boring. The best golf game I have ever played was an old school gane PGA TOUR GOLF for the computer, granted the graphics sucked, but it was hard to win tourneys so I enjoyed the gameplay.

I think Links was more enjoyable than Tiger Woods for XBox. Sure Tiger has a lot more features, but Links looked prettier and the XBox Live was a lot more pleasurable. It was great watching the flight path of balls fly by while in fastplay mode. I bought Tiger 2004 or 2005 and it was just no fun multiplayer.

I bought the first Tiger for PSP and that is the weakest excuse for a portable game I've seen. A minute to load a single hole? Gimme a break.

Got on this thread accidentally and then started checking this game out. To those who have played it is it worth getting?

Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour for Gamecube is probably one of the best golf games ever. Excellent graphics and gameplay and is pretty challenging as well. I absolutely tore through the N64 version and had a tougher time with Toadstool Tour

It's certainly a good laugh but I would advise getting a few sets of gloves if u wanna do multi player, i have 3 and it makes changeovers dead easy. It's also good cos if u have space u can use your own clubs to practice the swing rather than the teeny thing they supply it with!

I totally agree! love it love it love it! I do prefer plain old Mario 64 or Goldeneye as my fave N64 games but I still love the game!
