I'm thinking if he has an overpair, I want to get the money in now, but I'd expect a bigger raise from him on an overpair to protect it if he thinks I'm drawing. If he's got two overs and a flush draw, how hard do I push, or am I better off calling and looking for a safe turn, and then pushing?

against that much aggression id just assume lay it down as well...kinda see it as a push/fold situation and against that much aggression ur gonna need help

I have top two pair. What hands do we put the PF raiser on that I'm behind that I want to lay this down?Maybe this is my leak, but unless he's got J8, which seems an unlikely PF raise, what am I behind here that warrants a fold?

PUSH AINECthe only hands that fit a PF raise that have you are a setso you good against AT/AJ/something like AK of spades, an overpair, pocket 8

I think you push here and probably get called by AsKs and definitely get called by an overpair unwilling to let it go. I think this is one of those scenarios where you just pay the guy off if he has a set or decided to get crazy and raise with J8. I don't expect you to be behind right now, though.I think taking one off on this board just allows you to outplay yourself when something scary comes. Get it in and win money in the long run!

your right..didnt read the hand history right...you really should convert it or clean it up...I expect him to have an overpair 99% of the time...push on him

this makes no sense. Villian showed aggression preflop..showed aggression on the flop and you think that anything that calls us has us beat. The only holding that is of huge concern is 10's and those just arent likely. if any villian has A's, K's, Q's, J's we are ahead in the handeven against a hand like AK's we are still well ahead

I'd push the flop. If we flat call the raise, a card that completes a draw either beats you or kills your action. If his hand has a drawing component (e.g., A Q or J J ), it's good enough that he's willing to stack off with it, or he's making a mistake by re-opening the betting.Anything he could be playing here has outs against us, so in no case am I upset about picking this pot up now. Get the money in now to negate his advantage in position.

wow. This is almost too simple. Lets just assume raiser has a typical 4xBB range (AA, AK, KK, QQ, JJ and 1010). We beat all but one hand. Its an easy push, considering if a 7 comes off the turn, or a spade or and 8..etc, you can easily, as krup said, outplay yourself.
