Obviously I could have shown it down for free but I felt like a bet, how do u deduce the amount to bet into that pot given my hand and my read on him? thanks Link to post Share on other sites

It seems like youre saying you bet enough on the turn so that if youre called you know youre beat (either that or they are drawing and value betting the river is pointless), correct? It seems like youre saying you bet enough on the turn so that if youre called you know youre beat (either that or they are drawing and value betting the river is pointless), correct?Ive found that at 25nl and even 50nl you can get people to fold hands about 80% of the time just by being aggressive. I like to fire again on the turn for around the pot b/c often on a board like this a person can no longer afford to call on draws or with anything less than top pair. Also theres no way a person can assume ur just drawing to a hand when u fire out another big bet....youll find people will make comments like "you musta had a set" or something to that effect b/c of the size of ur bet. Its semi mahatma style as you are making the same bet here as u would with a made hand. It keeps control of the hand and forces them to continuously call larger bets to find out if ur bluffing or not....granted the variance of this style is a bit higher but it has a huge upside Link to post Share on other sites
