The only problem I seen was slowplay the trip kings. Don't do that. If you're going to bet, bet. Don't do a weak lead right there, it's a dead give away that you hit a set of kings. Bet the pot.There's also an arguement for raising 99 preflop, but I limp.

I love reading how people play quads. Everyone does it the same. lol. But i guess thats the only way to play quads. I don't think i ever won a monster when i flop quads.

thanks. i agree with betting the kings...I've been so used to playing very aggressive tables that i just let them do all the work, but this was a pretty tight table.The 9's was just a change up bet...I was getting a lot of big cards and this was after the other quad 9's where i did limp, so i thought i could take advantage of playing aggressive....edit...never mind thought i did raise the second pair of nines but just called a pre-flop raise...yeah i tend to limp in with 9's depending on the situation/players

Would have definitely led out stronger with the Ks. Could easily see someone playing J10, giving them OESD. Also, potential flush draw out there. You raise PF, continue with aggression on the flop.

Horrible.Slam this flop, you're *making it correct for someone with TJ or two spades to call* that might be ok with tremendously deep stacks and no straight draw where you can hit a paired spade and maybe bust an overplayed flush draw, but it's just horrible here.You played the quads fine, they rarely get much action in NL unless someone makes a FH. You were lucky to get paid off by 88.

Thanks. I catch myself over thinking sometimes "and agree" that i couldn't of played this hand any worse, just glad i came to my senses and raised the size of the pot when the turn gave double suited draws :-)
