couldnt have happened to a nicer guy.I hope that ******* suffered.
The path
of the righteous man is beset on
all sides by the inequities of the
selfish and the tyranny of evil
men. Blessed is he who, in the
name of charity and good will,
shepherds the weak through the
valley of darkness, for he is truly
his brother's keeper and the finder
of lost children.
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those
who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.
And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.

Always sad when a visionary passes on, but, yeah, I hope that fucker burned.
I'm also fed up with the common cold but I just hate to say goodbye.

Certainly great news. The markets are curiously quiet on the news. Figured we'd get some minor "Osama effect", but there's nothing. No bid in equities, no selling in bonds or oil... Fishy.

Oil's below $70 this morning. Frankly, I think the oil markets are really, really dumb. They go up if a few more people in Iraq get killed, and go down if Zarqawi dies. How either will dramatically effect the oil supply in the future is anyone's guess.

Obvi no. Never said they would. No matter how liberal and lefty I may be...I just wouldn't mind seeing Osama strung up and utterly destroyed, ala Mussolini. You can argue about certain bad guys in history, but I'm fairly well convinced he's one of them. Sure, the US gave him vast amounts of aid in the 80s, we're partly to blame for his tremondous growth in the Arab world, etc etc etc...But the guy still deserves to die a horrible, horrible death.

When the insurgency is terrorizing Iraq, it affects oil supply negatively, so prices go up. They don't just use car bombs and suicide bombers; they attack the oil fields, too. With Al-Zarqawi gone, hopefully those attacks will start to wane, but the markets (and I myself) suspect that some other idiot will come in and fill his place without too much disruption.

Word up.Actually, it would've been nice if his kidneys failed in one of those mountain caves of Tora Bora. That is a shitty, shitty way to die.

The Last Samurai was a crappy movie
"We had all the momentum. We were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave. So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look west, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark, that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back." —Raoul Duke, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas

I've a super-gay liberal pussy, and I'm generally appalled by reactionary, uh, reactions to death and violence....But I've definitely been listening to Bombs Over Baghdad and dancing around in my boxers most of the morning/afternoon.Wang
