Its the usual suspects there - everyone had just busted out of the $20k guarantee (i was last to enter as I had gone out 18 - got back my buyin which i guess is a win, right?). Here's the hand:Im in the cutoff with 67 diamonds. Family pot (very unusual for this cast of characters, but it did actually happen).Flop: Kh 6h 4cchecked around to me. I bet $40. button calls, everyone else foldsTurn: AdI check. button bets $100. I call.River: AcI check. button bets $100.Now, while I am thinking and realizing this is a busted flush draw, the guy to my right says, "whoa, i still have cards, sorry" and mucks them. The guy who bets doesnt say a word. I still think about possible hands. And realize its either Ax hearts or Qx hearts. Knowing this guy though he would have raised with Ax hearts on the button when everyone limps or at the very least on the flop, i ruled that out. So I go with my gut and call and flip over my 67. He jumps up and screams that he wants his money back because the other guy held on to his hand and it somehow affected how I made the call.Does the guy deserve his money back? Does the river get burned, reshuffled and delt again? You make the call. Discussion of my play will be accepted, but id rather this be a discussion on the correct thing for the house to do. Obviously if i called before the guy mucked his hand, then i dont think the guy is pissed. The problem was i called AFTER which made him think the final card and outcome somehow is different - you wouldn't believe how dumb some floor people are and how they treat their regulars (of which i am, but 20 years junior to the other regular who i beat out of $250 there). The guy was super pissed and then started screaming at the dealer that it was her fault and she should write him a check. He said, "I know larry flynt and you wont be working here much longer." It was about that time that people on the table started saying things like, "well, if you know larry, just ask him for the money - or better yet, just play in his game on sundays - hes usually the donk that loses 500k anyway." It was great..Here's another great hand between us..It folded around to me - i have A5clubsi raise to $40, he makes it $100.. i callflop Kc Jc 5sI check. he bets $150, I go all in for $2200. he thinks for a minute and then callsturn: 7cI flip over my cards towards the middle for all to seeriver: 2sHe jumps up - flips his cards over and says "2 PAIR! Kings and Jacks!" smiling proudly.The dealer starts counting my money and he says, "what are you doing? I cover him. I have like $5k.."Everyone then realizes that he has no clue my cards are sitting right there showing my flush until the dealer states it and he turns bright red and runs away to yell some more at the floorpeople. Its because they upped the regular $15k tourney to $20k that more people came out and then got into that game. Of the rooms in LA, I do best at Hustler, then Hollywood Park, then Bike, then Commerce. And as luck would have it, Hustler is closest to my house so its nice that I have the best run of the cards there.Are you in Zona?? I'm going to scottsdale over July 4 and will be going to one of the rooms there when I am there. And if the house accross the street that is asking for 1.35mil sells, then my house will go up even more since I have a pool and 1100 square feet more.Also, I didn't put much down on my house - thus i have a large monthly payment. I'm 100% certain that the floorperson was wrong though.1/2 NL game.UTG limps, I raise with KK to 15, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls.Flop is 3378Wait...what? 4 flop cards? Well, the standard ruling in situations like this in this particular casino would be to deal out the turn and river, then reshuffle for a new flop. So the floorperson comes over, a woman in her early 30's and looks at the board confusingly. Mind you there hasnt been any action on the flop yet. She eventually comes up with the solution that the hand is dead, and she RETURNS EVERYBODY'S MONEY. Call me crazy, but I was pissed off. Pretty much the best flop in the world for K's and the floorperson fucks up the ruling.Am I wrong to be upset? Link to post Share on other sites
