Daniel there is help. I’m not a doctor, just a friend/fan. 2 years ago – I was experiencing many of the same things you wrote about. Nobody would ever think I could be ‘depressed’ – except me.I checked Webmd, did a test, researched ‘Depression’, saw my doctor who prescribed ‘Celexa’ for what she diagnosed as a mild depression – very soon – everything changed back to ‘normal’ again. Depression is an illness – there are effective ways to ‘cure’ the illness.https://data.webmd.c...0000_2350_se_02Are depression and anxiety symptoms interfering with your life?Take this short quiz to identify if you are experiencing potential depression and anxiety symptoms. Depression and anxiety symptoms may not be just emotional, but can be physical too. The first step toward treating depression and anxiety symptoms is recognizing them and talking about them with your doctor. Please Note: This self-quiz is not a formal diagnostic tool. It is meant to help identify potential depression and anxiety symptoms. Only a health care professional can actually diagnose depression. Other medical conditions may cause similar symptoms. Talk to your doctor.Step 1Check off any symptoms you have experienced on a regular basis over at least the past two weeks:Emotional Symptoms Constant sadness Lack of motivation Irritability Trouble concentrating Feelings of isolation, not as involved with family and friends Loss of interest in favorite activities Constant worry Feeling worthless or guilty for no reason Thoughts of death or suicidePhysical Symptoms Headaches Unexplained muscle aches Tension Low energy Upset stomach Trouble sleeping Heart palpitations Significant weight changeStep 2Do your symptoms affect your ability to be yourself and function on a daily basis? (For example, do your symptoms interfere with your interaction with family and friends, or your enjoyment of favorite hobbies or activities?) Yes - My symptoms affect my daily functioning No - My symptoms do not affect my daily functioning

I agree that depression is a very serious problem and getting treatment is very important. Unless this has been ongoing, he is probably not clinically depressed. He did just have a breakup. Let's not scare him. Everybody gets the blues. I'm glad you are well now. Don't take this post as a suggestion that I think depression is not real, I know all too well that it is.Nikki

Perhaps a vacation would be good. Leave Mushu with Travis and get a chance to relax.

Some times when your to do list is so big, it's difficult to do any of them. Next thing you know, they keep piling up. So try to take small bites. Finish one task and you will be amazed how good it feels. Next thing you know, you will complete a second task, and you will begin to see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Daniel you are a winner. And you will beat what you are dealing with now. And when you do, you will be even stronger on the other side of the tunnel. Daniel, I know you are a christian. Rely, on your strength. And all of us will have you in our thoughts and prayers. It's always darkest before the dawn!!!Best wishes and God bless,Doug

Its his private life and, while I'm sure he appreciates that we're all pulling for him, I certainly wouldn't want several hundred people discussing my moods after my ex and I split. Give the man some air. Life goes on. If it gets real bad I'm sure he's grown up enough to find help. Even happy people frown sometimes.
Suddenly I turned around
And she was standin' there
With silver bracelets on her wrists
And flowers in her hair.
She walked up to me so gracefully
And took my crown of thorns.
"Come in," she said,
"I'll give you shelter from the storm."
