stylinhawyn...?
most will see this as an easy fold because your not supposed to challenge bigger stacks when you have a descent stack size. But heres the problem, this is the second time (1st time I had ATs) I've had a hand in late position and raised it on his big blind, both times, hes reraised me all-in for all of my chips.
read on this guy is that he has really loosened it up on the final table and has gotten pretty lucky to build his big chip stack. hes not a donkey or anything, hes actually a pretty good LAG player I think, just got lucky at the right times.
some hands I put him on were weaker aces, a descent King holding (KJ/KT), small pairs, or straight up stone cold bluffs (Qx/Jx). I cant put him on a real hand here, why go all-in with a premium holding?
idk, what ya'allz think? gamble or play it safe?

I would call - it's a great chance for villain to play bully since he knows you don't want to bust with three shorter stacks out there.
His comment could mean anything but strong usually means weak - of course he might know that and be using some reverse psychology on you.
Since he's pushed at you once already, I would call here.

I think that your range of his hand is optimistic, at best. He is not actually "going all-in", he is wielding his stack, knowing that the players behind him will not want to get involved.
While he may be jamming with a few weaker hands, you have probably around 50% equity against his range. This makes a call correct in temrs of chip EV, but not necessarily tournament EV. Here is the thing: Even if you fold, you will be left with 10xBB in 3rd/6. What are the payouts? This is important info to volunteer my opinion.

I'm not sure anymore as I can't bring back the tournament history... or i wouldn't know where to begin to look for it.
but i kinda sorta remember the basic numbers
6th was around 2k
5th $3,373.00
4th - 5k
3rd - 6.5k
2nd 8.5ish K
1st 13k
I am so regretting not calling this hand now. I should have gambled... I hate that Full tilt doesn't offer a time bank to clearly think through your decisions

I always ask what the payout structure is and what our intention is, but lately the majority of people keep saying that they are shooting for first, so it doesn't matter to them. However, it MAY matter to your opponents, so it is a very basic item that must be included in all tournament posts.
Regardless however, in this scenario you have painted, it is a fold, as Ace-Jack is clearly the devil!!!!!! Today after all is 6/6/6...

this is one of those sopts where its butter to push
if he was the intital raiser, i would move allin
but there a strong chance your beat
I dont see him doing this with anything less than 18 and even 2 paint cards youre not too far ahead

Steve,
It doesn't matter who you start because you have a horse shoe up your ass so far I'm not really sure how you get through the day. You must be gay.

Just had the same situation. I had ace jack o/s in BB, it was folded to the sb who pushed all-in. I was covered by a few thousand. He had just pulled the same thing the hand before. This was with 7 people left and pretty even stacked table. I called and of course....AA. So I like the no call in this situation.
