Right now I have no one at work to complain/whine to, so here I am on FCP, striving for you to sympathize with my situation. Not only does he call me retarded, useless and stupid because he feels inferior to me, being an academic, intellectual and successful female, he will also demean my poker skills. Every morning I come inato work and I boast about last night's bad beats, and he will tell me that I'm wrong each time, for going all in with AA, KK or QQ. For example, Marion: "Man, I lost all in with AA against QJ suited last night"Douche: "I never go all in with AA, its the worst hand ever, QJ is best, clearly you're stupid for going all in with AA"Marion: "Shit, some turd called me all in with J-9 suited against my QQ and he won"Douche: "J-9 suited is a great hand, I would have gone all in too"Marion: "I was like 85% favourite guy"Douche: "That's why they call it gambling"Marion: "Last night I had two pair off the flop Ks and Js but there was four spades on the board so I had to fold"Douche: "Too bad"Marion: "But the J came up on the river"Douche:"I would have stayed in for the river"Marion: "Whensomeone has a flush and its 20 dollars to go?"Douche: "Obviously, its gambling" Douche: "One time I went all in with 2-7 offsuit and the flop was 2-2-7, I cashed in huge.. on play money"Douche: "It seems to me you're a really tight player, that's too bad because everytime I play I win"Thanks for listening to my frustrated shit talking, I don't know if he's doing it to get on my nerves or he is being honest, because I don't see how such a loose chaser poker player being successful.

Well, I am not trying to be a prick, but perhaps you should stop talking to him about your poker night.
Then he can't frustrate you with the things he says. In all honestly, its 50/50 your fault for even mentioning it to him.Justin
A dollar won is twice as sweet as a dollar earned.

you should kick him in the balls.in all seriousness though...yeah you should kick him in the balls. i hate people who are stupid and ignorant about things they don't understand. actually i don't hate. you should just ask him to come play one night and take all him money and then ask if he wants more.and when you are done you should kick him in the balls again.

Not coworkers, but I always have to listen to people tell me about hands that they lost on, or won with, etc., etc. I used to always try and explain to them why they are dumb, or the other person was right, but recently I've learned to just go with them to make them happy. Unless it's a good friend of mine, I tell them to "STFU" and learn how to play.

maybe he's being a complete moron so you'll stop telling him all your bad beat stories...anyway, I'd probably just stop talking poker with him, and find someone else if you have to tell someone.
