hand 1:fisrt off it depends on what type of player it is....if you assume he is a tight solid player there are only a few hands he would three bet here....although pre flop you could put him on ak with the action on the flop you wuold have to assume he has hit something and the A on the turn isn't as scary....he could easily have q's or even 10's.....or even...although unlikley a flush draw.....i'd prob have to call that bet and even one more on the river but it would depend on the type of player you have him pegged as......if he's a fish then you would have to be a little more worried about the ace hitting the turn but still have to call it down because he could have been betting kj that way as well.....hand 2:you have to bet....you have no information which tells you you are beat yet.....if he raises there then you have cause for concern but until that happens you have to protect your hand....i think this is an easier situation that in hand 1 because your opponent has checked to you twice...although you could be getting trapped your opponent could have missed with big cards as well...or have as little as top pairthis is just what i would have done on these hands.....many ways to play it but without info on the player types its tough to decide....as in many poker question the answer is basically it depends

Hand 1: Depends on the player. The Ace is something you really didn't want to see, but the re-raise on the flop means he might have caught a piece of it. Is the player the type that would re-raise w/ A-J? Could he have two pair? Or would he make the same move w/ QQ. I know I would bet out w/ QQ when an Ace hits. Its the only way I get information. Could he have JJ and have you completely dominated from the flop? I would probably go into defensive, check, call to see what he has. If he has QQ, or is a moron that played QJ then you win, but you are probably behind that A right now. I have seen people 3-bet with worse than A-6o so you never know.Hand 2: The board containing 4 cards to a straight is slightly unsettling, especially if you think one of the players could be holding a 7. I would definately bet. If he check-raises you then I would go on the defensive again. If you are playing online, even at levels like 2/4 3/6 4/8 you get some really stupid people that call a raise w/ A-8 flop top pair on an 8-high board and think they are good. Then are shocked when they ran into an over-pair. But its pretty much an automatic bet. You need more information.

Hand 1:Raise, its very likely he could have QQ or JJ so this is a scare card for both of you, use position to your advantage. If its threebet, then you need to just call him down. Hand 2: you need to bet. if your check riased then obvioulsy reevaluate the hand and possibly fold dpending on the pot size

Call and bet out.Easy.Cap the flop in hand 1. If he has a set, good for him.Hand 1 is AJs most of the time, but not enough to not call it down.Hand two is fairly rarely going to contain a 7 but occasionally be some funky two pair. It's an easy bet, call a raise and call the river bet.
