You need to give the suits of all of the cards, just saying that there's two hearts on the turn doesn't help too much. It very much depends on which card on the flop is the heart

7 and 6 were the hearts

K6 or 36.And you lost to trip 7's?The people that think you had a straight and lost to a boat are likely wrong. Although it is possible, I just find that at a 4-handed table a boat and a straight are not likely to happen as much as two pair and trips.

I had 45, he had 77(why he didnt raise I dont know)and Absolute why shouldnt I have called the flop bet7-1 pot odds....and the odds of me hitting the str8 were 15.4%...roughly I little more than 6-1, plus it was still cheap......you need to loosen up when you have a draw

i wouldnt raise w/ 77 in ep either....i want as many ppl in the hand as possible and dont want to be reraised esp from early position...i also wouldnt be capping it on the river when theres a possible full house and the opponent has been showing strength since the flop

SB and I check, EP bets, all four call Why do you call here?
about 15% to hit the str8, 7-1 pot odds, plus it cheap...still small betting round, and no one could raise behind mealso....ill admit...I chase draws I really shouldnt

You're only about 7-8% to hit in on the turn though...
.....yeah, but it was still the lower betting rounds....ill call with any draw with its one bet

if they are willing to put all their money in the pot when they are far behind, then yes everytime.if i dont hit a set, i check-fold(with only investing a minimum in the pot)unless i am getting ridiculous odds w/a tiny flop bet and many playersif i hit a set and there are draws i play it fast ESP w/that many ppl in the hand

if they are willing to put all their money in the pot when they are far behind, then yes everytime. What about the blinds, your gonna give them cheap/free flop, someone might be limping with 98s, QJ0..... which is NOT way behind

yes....AGAIN i want ppl in the hand and i esp want ppl w/89 and QJ...i deally they hit two pair and are drawing virtually dead(relying on runner runner quads) OR they hit a straight draw and put in their money against my set when they are well behind..i am not looking to raise in ep w/a low pp and hope to pick up the blinds..i am looking to get a lot of ppl in the hand cheap and flop a set or fold for the minimum...

"ideally they hit two pair and are virtually dead"hmmm....if QJ hits two pair.....they are beating you. And if you meant the hit two pair and you hit a set, they dont need runner runner. and most wont go allin with a str8 draw on the flop. If your rely on that. You might as well just pray your playing against idiots

not completely, and I didnt mean to say "any draw"The main reason I called was 7-1 pot odds, it was the smaller betting rounds, and no one could raise behind me

I don't picture you taking vactions to go club baby seals or running around playgrounds with your pants around your ankles slapping young boys in the face with your genetailla or anything, but...You know nothing about Holdem. I mean nothing. I can't offhand think of a single had you've posted that has been played well or a single post where you showed a clear grasp of theory. This doesn't make you a bad person, but it does make you look like an idiot when I tell you something is a mistake and you say "not completely". You see, that's what people like me call "begging the question" and it's the sign of someone who can't deal with being wrong and thus can't ever learn and will be stuck in place walking the wrong way on a treadmill that's going in the direction opposite to where they want to go and and moving too fast for them to compensate.Don't be that guy.Just say "I know, it was a bad play. I should have folded there"

I don't like this Eddie guy too much since all he ever tries to do is make me look like a fool, when I do a good enough job of doing that on my own, but I think it's pretty childish that Smash types up another condescending post about strategy (or lack thereof), and people like KDawg and WRTO chime in with a typical second of what Smash said or a simple smiling emoticon, without giving any additional advice at all. The forum members are fully aware of who are all members of the Smash A$$ Kissing Club, we don't need you guys to reinforce that after every Smash post.
