Aces_Up 0
I've just started to use pokertracker after hearing for the last year about how necessary a tool it is. Seems pretty good so far, but I was wondering what rules the shorthanded LHE players use for auto-rating players.I used the default rules after my first session, but it seems logical that the VP$IP numbers should be higher for 6-max, so more players may get loose ratings that maybe they shouldn't. Any help on this would be useful.I have searched the PT forums and found some info, but I'm wondering if some of the strategy posters here might have recommendations, comments, etc. Thanks. AlphaOmega 0
I don't use auto-rate for shorthanded limit. It's easier to just keep the numbers up there with PAHUD, and know what they mean.
antistuff 0
Autorate is misleading, two players can be completely different but still have the same rating.
Aces_Up 0
Thank you for the replies. I understand that auto-rate can be misleading, which is exactly why I asked the question. If the right amount of thought was put into it, I'm sure a useful set of 6-Max LHE auto-rate rules could be created. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any. With regards to Gabmad's question, I have been using Pokertracker with Pokerstars SNG's ever since I got it with no problem.
