Yes. 2.5 was his usual PF raise from EP and 2 from LP. I don't think 3.5 over a normal range is that weird at this sorta mid-late stage condiering it was a 300 man tournament. This bet was over his normal though.how goofy were the hands? like KJo or 56s? if you've read him as being out of line a few times from utg i would probably take a shot at him with AQo.it would also depend on avg stack and what not. Most people bring down the raise..At this point, without further information, I wouldn't say betting 1 BB over your norm to be anything of significance.There are many factors here - for example...what has been the table's norm...and how has the table reacted to 2.5xbb vs 3.5 bb raises....Many a times I will change my normal bet simply becaues the table is not reacting to my "normal" pf raise the way I want them to - and sometimes that means changing from 3x to 4x to 5x.If a guy goes from 3x to 6x I may pay more attention. I FTed two tournaments at the same time last night so some of the details are getting jumbled in my head.Then I'd lean towards putting him on TT-QQ as it looks more like isolation than stealing...he wants some action, so he doesn't pop it to 2000, but he also doesn't necessarily want all the hands that have been calling the standard raises.
