I have had my best week so far, winning two tourneys totaling $2500 ($20 180 SNG, and $100 double shootout last night)
The point of this is not to brag, but ask advice.
Two questions.
1. Is it a good idea to play more tourneys then usual during this time when I am obviously both playing well and running good?
2. What limit tourneys should I play now with $2500 BR?
I feel that I can play the $50 and up tourneys with relative success, but due to a lot of previous financial resp. , have stuck to lower limit.
After winning the SNG with my acount round $1400, I cashed out $800 to take care of some things, leaving myself $500 to play with. I strecthed out of my BR and played in the $100, because I was confident and think I am a good SNG player, which is what shootouts are.
Now I am back up to round $2000?????
Thx in advance

Just stick with what's working for you. Don't overdo the "strict bankroll" thing, but don't play over you head either. I'd suggest sticking with the $77 and lower tourneys until you get to $4500 ($55 and under until $3000 if you're disciplined enough), at which point you can safely afford to play the $109 tourneys.
If you're really set on not moving down, you can stick with the $109 tourneys, but just realize that even as a winning player, you have a substantial risk of going broke, (somewhere in the 30-50% range). Whatever you do, don't raise yourself above that, because if you continue playing with less than 15 buy-ins, you're almost guaranteed to go broke.

thanks guys.
basically what I did with my $500 Br was play a $35 SNG, won it for $135, then used that money to essentially"freeroll" into the bigger $109 double shootout which I was fonrtunate enough to win.
I have done this in the past with the SNG, on a smaller scale with relative success.
I find the $35 6 seated SNG to be pretty soft.
Is this Ok then to allow me to take some shots in the bigger tourneys, while not affecting my BR?
