CoranMoran 0
Yeah, these are tough situations. If your opponent is LAG, despite his UTG raise, you very well may be ahead on the flop. The problem with waiting to push until the turn on a dangerous board is that Villain may take the free card.If he is aggressive, maybe this isn't likely. You have to decide.I usually push hard on this flop.I check-raise and cap.I then lead the turn. This way I gain my information on the cheap streets. And if I am ahead, I gain value while I can.I don't slow down unless I am raised again on the turn.In your line, if Villain is LAG, he may be 3betting your turn with a good Flush Draw. It's difficult to know. And it's expensive to find out.I don't fold. But I wouldn't push any further here.--CM
AlphaOmega 0
How aggressive is he? If he's not aggressive enough to three-bet this turn w/ a hand worse than yours, you should fold since you have no redraws and are often drawing very slim. I'd rather check/raise the flop, call a three-bet, and lead the turn. If raised then, I'd go to showdown, and you might benefit from bet/folding if the river puts a 4 flush as long as he's capable of folding an overpair.Did you check/raise the turn? I don't like that plan very much. Granted, I don't have a guage of how aggressive this guy is, but even the dumbest, most aggro LAGs will sometimes take a free card in this spot if they have a lone diamond and not much of a hand. Steppin Razor 0
Agree with AlphaOmega's check raising the flop (BTW, you have UTG acting first on the flop) on a three flush flop. Then lead the turn. I wouldn't c/r cap the flop.
greatwhite 0
I'm confused. How does he check-raise? According to what he is saying he is in the bb, but he is also acting last on every round. Anyways, I would lead the flop, 3-bet, and lead the turn.
