First hand of a 180-man SnG. I had no reads on anybody, obviously. I'm weirded out about this hand, so I thought I'd get some feedback.

Here's a useful guide for playing the $20+$2 SNGs on Pokerstars.

I would jam postflop with the Q's - you're only behind A's/K's/8's (not likely someone hit quads)

Based on "the guide" - that would be the play

the only reason I don't re-raise push preflop, would be to see a flop like this first.

Jam it.

Yeah, I really don't like the play at all. Thanks for the link, gobears. I skimmed that thread once, but I think I'll give it a refresher read.

As it turns out, I made a lucky laydown this time. MP1 had KK. Button, being the terrible, terrible donk he is, had A 10 off.

I would have pushed either preflop or on the flop. If I am up against Kings, they got another 180 man starting in 30 minutes or so.

Yup, if you're not jamming preflop, jam it post flop. It would've sucked that you ran into KK, but the fact that the other guy had AT is proof of why over the long term, jamming with the QQ is the way to go.
