Do you bet the turn after he calls the flop? Do you call the river? I'm getting 3-1 but I can't see him betting here without the A. Maybe I make a bet on the turn hoping for a cheap showdown and fold to any raise on the turn or bet on the river? Pre-flop raise amount ok?I couldn't help but think the fact that he raised pre-flop (albeit the dubious min-raise), called the flop and then bet the river...he had to have an A.I figure the only hands I beat that he raises with UTG are QQ, 1010 and the hands I lose to are AK, AQ, AJ (although unlikely), A10, or AA (also unlikely) and maybe A9.Any thoughts?Regards,

I call the river, especially with the 2nd ace coming out, but even without it. The turn check is good. You are considering betting the turn to get a cheap showdown, but don't consider $5 a cheap showdown? I'm confused. How much were you going to bet?By checking the turn you have shown weakness and could be inducing a bluff. You are lucky he bet so small, as I think you have an easy call, but a pot-sized bet would be a little harder. He could have a lower PP or be the one lookign fora cehap showdown with a J, which is why the turn check is good(he would fold QQ on the turn). Against more agressive opponents who might overbet the river as a bluff after you cehcked the turn, would be the only time I would consider a turn bet, but its a stretch.The only other way to play it is to check the flop, and then call down smallish bets on the turn/river, but I like the way you played it more, with the exception of the river fold, since you often take it down on the flop.

HiFirst post in a long long while.This is a super easy river call, especially given that it is six max. You need to be willing to make loose river calls in some situations because the pot is offering you a good enough price, it will prevent your opponents from making too many plays at you, and its just too easy that your kings are ahead here.You played this hand textbook on every street, except for the river. You could make an argument for making this laydown to a PSB, but there are enough value betting/ weak bluffing hands of his that you are ahead of to make this call.
