before i go on let me just say that i don't get mad anymore about bad beats.....what can i do....the most you can do in poker is get all your money in when you have the best of it but its still somewhat of a gamble and in the short run you will get sucked out on....anyways it still sucks and here are my two most recent from one tourney.......its a 50 rebuys in first hour live tourney:stacks start at 300 with blinds at 10-15 third hand of tourney...i get aj in 3rd position of a 6 handed table(it had yet to fill all the seats) i raise to 50....(i had decided to gamble a lot during the rebuy sicne the blinds went up every 20 min. and I thought i needed to build a stack to compete once the blinds got high) fold to the big blind who calls.....flop comes A 3 7 rainbow......big blind bets 50.....i put him on an ace but hopefully a smaller kicker so i just go ahead and push all in and he calls quick with an ace with a smaller kicker....just so happens it was a 3 so there goes my original buy in...don't really care though cause that wasn't too bad...so i rebuy and don't get much to work with until i wake up with aces in the cut off seat....i get a standard raise and a decent reraise in front of me so I push all in.....folds back to re-raiser and he thinks for a second and calls with pocket 9s.....i flop an A and am counting my chips when he turns a gut shot and rivers a straight....sigh....what can you do.....so i decide not to invest any more money in this tourney and go home figureing it wasn't my day( can't really fault this guy for the second play cause you needed to gamble early to try and build a stack and the first one wasn't that bad a beat....i just left thinking what men the master said after busting out of the big one in '04....im happy to go out with aces baby!)
