This is my reply to the recent topic-I just wanted to make sure you take a look at it.Great post(s) Daniel. I was excited to hear that you were a Christian, but even more now, I know you've got your head on straight. You've cleared up a lot of misconceptions about Christianity and Relgion. I too am a believer that people put way to much stock in CHURCH and orgainized religion. It becomes a business and deters us from the real reason we call our selves Christians. I haven't read "A case for Christ" but have heard good things about it. MERE CHRISTIANITY by C.S. Lewis is probably my favorite book. He too, was an athiest, and "thought" his way into Christianity-the book is truely amazing. I challenge you all to read it, especially you smash. I don't want to preach or be a jerk, but you seem to be a pretty level-headed guy, and you can understand that it's important to really understand and explore something before you bash it and make assumptions that aren't true. Take a weekend and read Mere Christianity-keep an open mind-that's all I ask. God Bless- (great discussion) Tommy

Of course that's his choice-I said nothing to refute that.

Let me tell you a little something about Private Messaging... ok: there's a button and it says "send a private message" and you click on it and it opens up a box you can write in... and then when you click send... and it sends a PRIVATE MESSAGE!!!...P.S. Private Message

Calling out Smash in a public forum like this is pretty uncouth. Couldn't you have PM'ed him?Seriously.

God can't read private messages, thus, he doesn't get the "Heaven Points".

To those of you suggesting to the original poster that he could have PM'd Smash......You also could have PM'd that suggestion to the original poster.

With the dozens of threads about religion over the past 3-4 days, one could almost justify tossing in a section of the forum for religious topics alone... seriously people, LET IT GO!

IF you think I haven't read Lewis, Aqunias, Pascal, or any of the other arguments in favor of God, you're wrong.I've read all of them and found them all equally wanting in any sort of argument other than "Come on, don'y you feel like there is a god, trust your feelings!"I think you grossly understimate how educated I am on this subject.
