bdc30 0
Hero is CO with 10 J Q K with $45.BB stack approx $150, MP $200.Preflop MP raises to $3, 5 folds, Hero calls, SB folds, BB raises to $12,MP calls, Hero????Is this the classic decision where I either have to stuff it all in or fold? The way I looked at it was as follows...I was playing basically "short stack" strategy with only $40 on a $100 max table. I saw this hand as a place where I was up againstAT LEAST one guy with a transparent AAxx, and the dream situationwould be if they both had that.I figured if I were to push, I'd for sure get 2 callers, and suspectedthat by pushing, I would basically create my own pot odds, so to speak, in an effort to triple up, if I hit.Or, on the other hand, since I only had $3 in the pot, I could fold, and wait for another spot....What do you guys think?? JacKingOff_suit 0
I think I will just call. If you flop well you will get called more likely because you will have only ~$30ish left and the pot is more than that. If you don't flop well you can fold or do something else because you have the position to see the actions before you react. If you can get the other two players to put $45 into the pot preflop you sure will have the pot equity, but since you have the positional advantage, use it. A $30 you saved is a $30 you win. I am only comfortable to shove in preflop with AAxx.
