this is precisely the kind of situation where calling down is ok, unless you're planning on raising the flop and folding later on, which you shouldn't be against a LAG. i might raise and call down, but just calling down seems ok too. i don't know if we're good often enough to raise and call down.

I think this is a really good line to use against people that just bet, bet, bet. C/r flop is ok too.

I have about 3-4 hands like these per day, and I think a passive line really maximizes value versus very aggressive players. I disagree with check/raising the flop. A lot of the villain's range is complete air, so it's best to just let him hang himself, rather than allow him to fold cheaply.Edit: Just noticed this was an MP limper, so his range isn't exactly air. It still consists largely of worse hands that are drawing somethat thin, so your line is still optimal IMO.

I don't see how villain is neccessarily aggressive if he's limping in the first place. Your line is ok though if he's shown that he bets when checked to. I wouldn't mind a more aggressive line either, both are fine depending on your opponent's tendencies.

i like to get more aggressive shorthanded. He's likely to pay off and theres no real reason for us to think villian is way behind.check/call-donk. check/call-check/raise. Something a little more than check/calling the whole way.

Aggressive postflop and preflop are 2 different things

I think that I would donk this turn. I think that this might confuse and an agressive opponent and have him reraise with a lot weaker hands.
