babyelephant 0
Can anyone explain how to use the chart at the end of Lyle Berman's chapter in SSII? Any help appreciated.
dingas 0
I don't have the chart in front of me, but I'll try to explain from memory. The vertical column on the left is the number of outs that the drawing hand has to win. The horizontal column on the top is the number of 'kill cards', i.e. cards that the made hand can hit on the turn or river that will leave the drawing hand drawing dead. The percentage is the overall chance of the drawing hand winning the pot.For example:HAND 1 Kc Kd 7s 2hvs.HAND 2 Jh 10h 9s 8sFlop:Kh Qd 3hSo here HAND 2 has 18 outs to make a str8 or a flush, but if the board pairs, hand one will win regardless, giving him 7 and 10 kill cards.
