What To Do Now?

I have been playing poker for a about two years now. When I moved out here to Vegas (not just for poker), I had a br of $350 or so. In about a month and a half I had it up to about $1950 playing 1/2 NL live. I felt like I was on top of the world. After a little variance and the worst beat I have ever took I am down to $300.Last night i put the rest of my roll on Party. I never really played online much. Should I just start at .10-.15 and try to grind it up?I am just looking for some advice. I am at the point where I feel like nothing is going my way and like giving up. I do not want to give up poker, it is one thing I truly love to do. So, have some of you been at this point, where you felt like just giving up? And if so, what did you do? Thanks for any advice. I put in Nl so I could hopefully get some good advice.Thanks guys!

i'd play $50 nl with a $300 bankroll. that's not proper br management. but it's $50nl and incredibly easy.play on party or bodog. move up to $100NL once you have a 1300 - 1500 bankroll if you are comfortable with the money. if not, wait till $2k.- Jordan

hahahadude, online is a bit harder than live. grind it out at the low limits. find out where you can win (you can win somewhere), get an accurate and honest rating of your play, and move up at the appropriate time, skill and bankroll permitting.Edit: Jordan, i now think you weren't being sarcastic. i know that 50 NL might be easy to you, but you might forget how much you know.

no...$50 NL is mind numbingly easy to beat. shouldn't really take more than 10k hands to move through the limit. Maybe 15k.- Jordan

i agree...at 50nl if u play solid you shoudl do quite well really fast

Start at $25 NL and move up when u have $400 or 500

Kevin, everyone has been hit by the variance. Alot of people have won big then reality slaps them in the face. Including me. There is no real advice anyone can say to get you through those low times. Just remember it is a part of the game and when you are going through it just work on minimizing your losses and continue to work on your game. I truly believe you need to read and discuss the game in order to get better. I agree with the others that $50 NL would be a good place to start. One table also. Do not multi table right away.
