Concerning And Important Information About Wsex Poker And Eye On Poker

Recommended Posts

Below is an email that I sent to the WSEX poker support. I know Eye on Poker uses the same software so this is also important to people that play there. Anyone that plays at the sites need to be on the look out for this.I am writing this knowing that I will most likely costme some money out of my account. Your software is notcorrectly handling people that disconnect from thesite. Here is what happened. Was dealt AA, with 2 otherspeople preflop. After the flop of A K Q, I wasdisconnected with only $6.00 in the pot. (Anotherstory completely is that I am having connectionproblems with your site that I do not have at othersites.) When I come back it shows that I have won over$20. I get the hand history and it did say that I wasdisconnected but for some reason I won the money thatshould have been in a side pot. I hope you understand how this can be a problem inother circumstances. Getting the software correct andhaving a fair game is more important to me than the$16+ I won incorrectly. At the bottom is the handhistory.Thanks,JRock7997Hello JRock799,You have recently requested your transcript of thehand 35163849***** Hand history (v1.1) *****Hand ID 351638490.50/1.00 Texas Hold'em (No Limit) - GMT Wed May 1022:32:26 2006Table 'Key Player', 10 seats max, not started, Realmoney, Money gameSeat 6 is the button. Dear Jason, Thank you very much for bringing this matter to our attention. As you are aware, we take pride in our customer service, and are very embarrassed that a timely response to you fell through the cracks. Let me take a moment to bring you up to speed on the situation. After your original email, we escalated the issue to development. It was our responsibility to track the status of this trouble ticket, and maintain communication with you on the status of that ticket. Unfortunately, you have identified a bug that exists within our all-in protection. Conversely, and fortunately for us, it is this type of assistance from our playing community that allows us to quickly identify any inherent problems with our system; and hopefully results in a timely fix. We have recently, and diligently, been working on enhancements system wide. One of these enhancements has been fine tuning the All-In Disconnections. Not only to protect players from unexpected interruptions in service (and to protect their equity in a pot as a result); but also to enhance the integrity of the games and to offer better reporting functionality so that our fraud and security monitoring can identify any attempts to undermine the intentions of All-In protection via deliberate manipulation of play. We want to thank your for bringing this matter to our attention. We have placed an additional $50 in your account as a token of our appreciation. I would also like to personally apologize for the delayed response to your issue. Please note, that we will hopefully be implementing a fix to this bug during our next game server release. We will also be contacting players, such as "JacksonHo" (your opponent in hand #35163849), to manually reconcile the side pot issue that has adversely affected their account. Thanks again for your patronage. We look forward to serving your gaming needs continually. Kindest regards, World Poker Exchange Customer Support
