crankin 0
he's got it a decent amount of the time, but i still think it's a call. also, how did you overplay top pair?To scott and others, I *was* referencing me overplaying top pair, but that's just because I was sleepy when I posted the hand. When I was playing it I knew I had the straight.Note to self: Pay more attention when posting your hands and choosing your titles.
Mattnxtc 0
push the turn
oldirtyharry 0
Gotta call there. I agree, Id push the turn but thats just me. You played it well.
Jay-Dub 0
It's one of those spots where you heave a sigh and make the call. You played it good. I dunno that I push the turn, but an overbet is certainly a good play, so $15-20 rather than $12. Might look like you're trying to buy the pot. Villian prob had a pair and straight draw like you, possibly pair and flush draw as well. Can anyone see AcQc being played this way?
The Nuts 0
I think he's got the flush, but you've gotta suck it up and call.If he check/call the flop and turn, he was probably on the flush draw and I'd put him all in on the turn.
fckthis 0
push the turnso you get called when your beat or chop?Im guessing you say this only because of the level of play.
offset 0
so you get called when your beat or chop?Im guessing you say this only because of the level of play.I agree. Pushing is terrible. Ouch, ouch, just terrible.
krup24 0
Easy Call here w/ the straight, not saying we win but its an easy call.
simo_8ball 1
I call, expecting to chop. If he has the flush, be glad he's only got $15 off you.If I am the villain (and I have the flush or AQ), I think the best move is to just push the river. Hero is unlikely to have the flush and will have a hard time folding the Q.
Mercury69 3
AQ or QT of clubs, the villain has (unlikely to have a set of T's or 9's here). Lost you are, but call, you must.-Yoda
