Ok... 3rd street is fine. You're heart draw is quite alive as is your straight draw (one dead six, but still good).4th... you catch horrible. You have nothing. Check there. Fold to the re-raise??5th... this is where you should get away from this hand. This is where you can seperate yourself from your opponents who draw too hard. You caught just enough to get you into trouble and keep you to the end.6th... you catch your heart and that draw is still very alive... so since you called 5th, you should call here, but IMO certainly not raise. Once again, if you fold 5th you save yourself from being in these marginal situations where you catch just enough to lose a few extra bets.River... You could have gotten away from this hand earlier. Bricking out on such a live draw sucks, but getting away from this early will seperate you from most of your opponents. When you start with a 3 flush. Generally if you dont improve to a 4 flush or make a pair higher than your opponents up cards you should get away from it. Good luck.James

3rd street - good4th street - IF he was stealing on 3rd, there is virtually no reason why he'd check to you on 4th..he'd likely bet and keep representing a hand. By him checking, this seems to me that he either has a four-flush or maybe Aces and Jacks...or a pair of jacks with three diamonds...all three of which have you in trouble. I check here and if he bets on 5th fold......the pot isn't big enough to be chasing runner runner flushes.As played though...5th street - You have a small pair and a three straight/flush....but with him betting again on 5th..unless he has a COMPLETE garbage cards in the hole....I think you are still a pretty significant underdog here....I think his most likely hand is a pair of Jacks with three diamonds...or maybe even Jacks and Sevens with three diamonds...but just the Jacks have you beat....and if he does have three diamonds that just makes it worse....and if he has an Ace in the hole then you can't beat him by you yourself making two pair....Basically, what I am saying is that the pot is small to start with and on 4th street, he caught a great card and you caught a total blank..I think it's best to just give the hand up as soon as possible from that point onward. I understand that you want to defend against possible steals, but if you think a guy is stealing on 3rd like you did, and then he catches a SUPER good card on 4th....I think it's almost 100% that a player "stealing" would bet out on 4th....I don't recall ever seeing a raise on 3rd, then check-raise on 4th after catching a perfect card all as a part of a steal attempt..this looks pretty strong to me.

Koop, how often do you 4 table stud?

I never mulit-table Stud. I multitable LHE all the time, but never Stud. I think you just have to pay attention to so many factors...I like to concentrate. If you multi-table and just play pretty straightforward, I'm sure you can still do okay since there are a lot of bad players, but I think that if you really focus on one table you can take advantage of a lot of different things and win a lot more.
