Is there anyway I can play a match vs. vatche even though my team forfeited. I am here to play, and even though our team doesn't deserve, I would really appreciate a second chance.

Tsk, tsk.

As captain I am slightly worried as it is 3 hours before game time for CC Riders and Theresa has not posted pre-game info yet. You better not be all hungover from partying too hard at the wedding missy!

PS PM sleuthis or DN I imagine but I don't know...

i responded to your pm GrinderMJ...it would not be a smart move on my part to risk it, plus DN said that there are no exceptions.

Rules are rules, but I think Vatche should give Grinder a shot, especially if he has a decent excuse, i.e. cat ran away. Plus, I don't want any free wins in my division!

A forfeit is a forfeit................if we allow this game, then we have to allow ramrod as well.........and then we have to go back to week one and allow another game...............

The rulles are very simple, very strict, and also very fair. We can't start playing favorites or that wouldn't go over well. You guys should ALWAYS have more than one person ready to play.

Today, Me, Jayboogie, cfinnn, and Waffles2003 were all in the lobby "just in case."

Rules are Rules..

Can't change them during the season.

Although, I will say this. A team that "wins" a match through Default, SHOULD lose a tie breaker to a team that actually did EARN all their wins..

i disagree. they never had the opportunity to win, therefore they are being punished that their opponents did not show up.

tiebreakers should go to a bikini contest. wives and girlfriends are substitutable.
Long-term bets:

(2) 76'ers to win title @ 31
Webb Simpson to win US Money Title @ 17
Brandt Snedeker to win US Money Title @ 26
(5) Broncos to win the AFC @ 11
(2.5) Broncos to win the SB @ 21
(2) Bears to win SB @ 42
(0.5) Red Sox to lead AL East @ 6.5
(1.5) White Sox to lead AL Central @ 17.25
Indians to lead AL Central @ 15
Nationals to lead NL East @ 9
(0.5) Marlins to lead NL East @ 6
Padres to lead NL West @ 29
(0.5) Rockies to lead NL West @ 6.5
(0.5) Cardinals to win NL @ 9

I wouldn't unless it's a lock anyway. Like playing Zimmer for instance.

You mean 35 min late? You have a 30 min grace period unless I'm mistaken.

I understand that you are punishing the team that got a win by forfeit..

But they were unfairly rewarded with a win already...

Doesn't that break even?

i see what you are saying but i disagree, even if it didnt happen to me...you cant punish a team because another team didnt show up.

ya, i was sitting at the 50+4 and when i saw his name, i knew he was from fcphu...

i was pretty card dead and lost, but i could tell he knows what hes doing...even if i wasnt card dead, it wouldve been a tough match...i like his heads up game, hes probably one of the best players in the league.
