Are you serious? HU I'm going to pay this off every time.
Btw, he's not a solid player at all if he's chasing the naked gut-shot *shudders in disgust*.

First off, he's not chasing anything if it's checked down the entire way.
Second, you should always reevaulate your options if you get pushed all in with the idiot end of any straight. ESPECIALLY with a TAG player against ya. But he can't be too TAG if he's playing 9 7 off....Just like you wouldn't call an all in with a jack high flush in front of your raise. If he's coming over the top of you with your jack high flush it shrinks up....

There are plenty of times I'd call with a J high flush against a TAG. I'm calling an all in with the Op's hand every time. I'm no NL expert but your advice seems a little weak/tight.
To the OP, don't post results, it leads to biased thinking.
At midnight I'm back in my room, it serves as a drunkards tomb.

He was in the BB, so in for free, and got checked down to the river for free. I was in the SB so I got in cheaply, and you can say I made a mistake for limping with 4/7, but it is a minor judgement call in NL.
So you think I should call here? Reraising like to $8 is illrelevent because he is obviously gonna push, and I'm probley not letting this hand go. So it is either a push or call. He can easily have a set here, and possibley two pair.
The funny thing is it took him like 30 seconds to call, with the nuts, so I though for sure I was ahead.

I guess. Calling is an option. Perhaps the meltdown occurred on the flop. Leading out there is lookin pretty good. And if you didn't I'd def. take a stab on the turn. The jack is likely scary for everyone. On the river You're pretty much lookin at made hands, and since you have no idea what those hands could be I'd prob most likely call down. I'd press if I had any reason to think I might have the best hand. From what I can see this screams call.

Easy call. He could have easily been slow playing a set, or hit two pair or a set on the river. There are way too many hands you are crushing here to fold.

Course, noone ever even hinted at folding. As you can see he pressed. I think the question was between press, or call.
