Of course you should have folded preflop. Could have avoided making such a vulnerable top set.Villain is a donk to call off a quarter of his stack on a 4 outer, but he got lucky.I wouldn't have put him on QQ99 when he spams the turn, but Ax99 with suited aces of diamonds I could see there.Showing results sucks.

I'm just chimming in here to maybe learn something about this game (disclaimer). So in that situation you would start trying to think of ways to put him on 99xx?

I would be trying to figure out why villain suddenly decided to push nearly all of his remaining stack in after calling a pot bet on the flop. Am I still ahead and trying to dodge multiple flush draws or a straight draw? Or am I buried because someone with 99 just put me dead to the last 7? Or is this a stone cold bluff? These are the difficult scenarios I have to face when I play J774 and I actually hit a 7 on the flop. It's much easier here if I'm playing JJ74 and I hit a J on the flop then a 9 comes on the turn.Long story short, low pairs are a very dangerous hand in PLO because they make low sets and underfulls.

fold this preflop mostly. it isn't very strong.you can't get away from it though. seems like the opponent might be cleverly playing a low set there, and waiting for a safe turn to make his move.either that, or deciding to push a strong draw into a late-position bettor.99XX is not impossible, but its one of a lot of things he could be playing that way, and its really the only thing you aren't beating.you gotta call there IMO

Of course you can't fold here. In fact, you should invite this donkey to play you heads up.
