Yes it does, but then it comes down to the other guy's perception of a big hand.Though I have seen this done with AJ, once, most times his worst hand is AK.

You will occaisonally see players do this with 22-88 also; I suppose b/c they can't bear to lay it down, and are hoping for some fold equity + a coinflip if called when they move in.

Yes, you probably are against AK AA or KK. He might have a middle pair. But 3 handed with mediocre pot odds most signs point to fold. What did he have?

He ended up having AKoff. The short stack had JTsuited.Flop came 2 8 6 2 8 so I would have split, but still I think the pf fold was right. Because in general limp/rereaise is a monster.James

Thanks for all the replies and reaffirmation that I was right. I'm primarily a stud and LHE cash game guy. So NL sng's are a little out of my realm. Thanks again.James

Thats a pretty safe fold. Although, I folded the exact same hand in EP last night to two reraises and an all-in on the first hand of a 12$ Full Tilt SNG..The all-in show down was A6 vs K9....People either really like beer or don't like money ...or both.
