was playing a small 4 man touney with a couple people, down to 2 my brother and I, he deals me KK. I mentioned him doing some weird thing of keep the deck on the table and dealing, I mentioned why doesnt pick up the deck. He says because in Casino your not allowed to(....I think you can when you deal) he then goes no...this is how the shuffle....and acually shuffle the cards, "way to **** up the cards" I said he goes, oops re-deal unless you want to keep you cardsWhat the **** am I suppose to do, If I say no I wanna keep these...thats pretty obvious I have a good handbut, 4 hands later pick up QQ and shortly ther after win....so I really do care, but what would you doif you careblinds 10/20I had 3200he had 1300estimates

In pinch of psychology might help.Brother: "Oops re-deal unless you want to keep you cards."Me: "No, let's quit screwing around and play cards, and this isn't a casino, I'm going to pick up the deck when I shuffle."I think in this case you've fired off enough 411 at him that he might not consider what your cards are so much as he might consider that his behavior is irking you and you think he's holding up the game.Just my $.o2

Tricky situation to be in, and I think there is an official rule on what to do, but I can't remember what it is. I think you should just be consistent if you want to keep your cards this time. That means if it happens by accident again and you hold a crappy hand, don't say, "Let's re-deal." That would just be plain wrong.I like Knobby_Tires idea if you do indeed want to keep your hand though.
