I only had 13 hands on the villain at the time this ocurred, he seemed kinda loose/passive but too early I think for solid meaningful stats.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 9, 9.
2 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls.

Flop: (4.33 SB) 8, 8, 2 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.16 BB) T (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero ???

If I call the turn and a blank hits on the river am I calling another bet too?

Given that you think he's loose passive, I'd fold on the turn. However, if he was aggressive, I prolly check behind on the turn and call the river.

In this case, your not confident about your read. Therefore, I call down because:
1) Your hand may still be best.
2) Since he is new to the table, you will get a better read on him. He could be getting tricky with a FD, or even hands like J9, QJ, Q9, etc.
