I see that that at limit you should average at least 1 bb profit per hour but I have yet to find out what that average should be in NL. I have been playing 1/2 NL and have earned a bankroll to play 2/4 now but would like to make sure my average is at par before I move up. what is a good average earn rate at NL?Thanks in advance for you're feedback, Link to post Share on other sites
MasterLJ 0 Posted May 2, 2006 Share Posted May 2, 2006 5BB/hour is pretty good. 10+ is crushing.The personal goal I set for myself before I move up is 10+.And just as an aside, if you're winning only 1bb/100 at limit or per hour you should not be moving up and you're barely scraping by at your stakes. silicon 0 Posted May 2, 2006 Share Posted May 2, 2006 I play 1/2NL live but don't measure my success by BB/hour. I just keep track of wins and hours played and calculate and hourly rate. Currently I'm at ~$27/hr but I do take my expenses (mostly munchies and beer) out of that number so I guess the real return on the poker portion is closer to $30.If I do the math right that works out to 15BB/hour - which would be crushing the game - however I only have about 140 hours in this year so I think it is a little early to tell if the win rate is sustainable.
