Hey guys,Don't have a hand but have a NL question. I see that that at limit you should average at least 1 bb profit per hour but I have yet to find out what that average should be in NL. I have been playing 1/2 NL and have earned a bankroll to play 2/4 now but would like to make sure my average is at par before I move up. what is a good average earn rate at NL?Thanks in advance for you're feedback,

5BB/hour is pretty good. 10+ is crushing. The personal goal I set for myself before I move up is 10+.And just as an aside, if you're winning only 1bb/100 at limit or per hour you should not be moving up and you're barely scraping by at your stakes.

Would that be for all games, or only once you start getting to higher limits?

I play 1/2NL live but don't measure my success by BB/hour. I just keep track of wins and hours played and calculate and hourly rate. Currently I'm at ~$27/hr but I do take my expenses (mostly munchies and beer) out of that number so I guess the real return on the poker portion is closer to $30.If I do the math right that works out to 15BB/hour - which would be crushing the game - however I only have about 140 hours in this year so I think it is a little early to tell if the win rate is sustainable.

I believe it decreases as you increase in levelsFor example at 0.1/0.25 NL I was winning 24BB/100 over 8K hands0.25/0.5 NL I was winning 35BB/100 over 15K handsat 0.5/1 NL I am currently winning 18BB/100 over 11K handsSo for me I make virtually the same profit / 100 at both 50 and 100NL but I'm sure as I increase my limits my win rate would go down simply because I'm not good enough

Is "BB" big blinds or big bets here? That's really ****ing good either way.

Big Blinds I crush low limits, lol. This is why I stay at these limits and turn a nice profit.I've take shots @ 1/2 and 2/4 and I play way too scared it really feels like too much money.

I've had that problem each time I've moved up. (I just put in $x ! I can't fold now!)
