Another Qq Hand...you Guys Ok With This?

$25NL...6 handed...been there for 15 minutes...Stacks: Hero $25Villian $95Reads: I'd been at the table for 15 min. Villian had showndown some big hands and also shown some successful bluffs. Raised Very hard to read, tricky, aggressive.Hero dealt QQ in the BBVillian calls .25, Button calls, SB call, Hero callsPot $1Flop: 4, 5, 5 rainbowSB checks, Hero checks, Villian bets $.25, Button folds, SB folds, Hero callsPot: $1.5Turn: 2 rainbowHero bets $1, Villian CallsPot: $3.5River: 5Hero bets $2, Villian raises to $12, Hero raises all-in, Villian calls.Analysis:Preflop - I probably should've raised with QQ and I normally do but I didn't like my position as I'd be in front of the Villian and the Button (who also had a big stack $80 or so) the rest of the hand.Flop: The flop looks safe to me, although without raising pre-flop, I went to check/call mode with the intentions of leading the turn.Turn: relatively safe card for me, I lead the turn thinking I'm more than likely ahead.River: Great card for me, I bet and get re-raised. After the re-raise I'm thinking that any 4x, 66, 77, 88, 99, 1010, JJ, KK, AA and 5x make this same play at these levels. I'm ahead of all but 3 hands and I'm pretty sure any pocket pair higher than the board makes this same play often enough for me to commit my stack.Anyone have any thoughts? Do you push this river or just call his re-raise?

I would wonder why the villian is not worried about you having a 5 from the big blind in an unraised pot

Since you didn't raise, you're basically fighting over a $1 pot. I think a raise pf is especially necessary against the larger stacks as they might be more willing to gamble with lesser hands. As for the river, I would simply call the raise rather than push. As gooch said, why isn't he at least a little scared?

I can't really comment on how you played the hand because you must raise this preflop. Honestly I didn't even know that 3 fives were on the board because you preflop and postflop action were not good. Honestly you can't analyze this hand the way you played it. Raise preflop, lead the flop.

I don't like the decision to limp w/ QQ in 25 NL. Pump it up here before the flop, seems that you realize the mistake. I actually don't mind the push at the end seeing that this is a very low limit game, some players would make that play with a 4, and you would think he'd raise the turn if held a five.

Just from an elementary standpoint.1. Raise pre flop2. There's absolutely no need to push all-in on the river. Your opponent showed you the absolute text-book "I'm a donkey with a strong hand," that I have ever seen.
