1-2 blinds mean that the blinds are 1/2 that of normal 4-8. SB is 1 buck, BB 2, instead of 2 and 4A kill means that a player who wins 2 in a row gets a button like device called the "kill". They make a live straddle, and the limits double, meaning he raises to 8 in the dark (blinds double to 2/4) and can choose to check or raise if the pot comes to him limped (like what the BB can do), and that while the kill is out, you're playing 8/16. Really boosts the action. He keeps the kill as long as he wins pots. When he loses, the kill goes to the middle til someone wins 2 in a row again.

I've never actually seen anyone playing O8 there, allthough they list the game.Play the 1-3 or 2-6 spread limit game, it's a liscence to make money. They also have the easiest to beat game in the world for tight players, *no ante* 7-stud hi.

With a premium hand you can bet or raise up to $6 (increments), even thought the BB is $2. This helps protect your premium starting hands somewhat. This Assumes people fold to a large raise which, at the Xcal, can be the incorrect assumption. Either way you can build the pot rapidly with the best of it.Alternatively, and with postion, you can loosen your starting requirements with everyone limping. J9 suited 3 off the button may be playable etc. This may not be textbook, but you get the idea.I found weekends to be particularily easy at this game.
