It’s time for another awesome FCP freeroll pool! What’s the occasion? Daniel Negreanu will be crowning his protégé next Sunday 4/30/06. The protégé final table kicks off at 12:00 PM EST and can only be viewed live here at fullcontactpoker.com. Instructions:The object of the game is very simple. Pick the final table players in the order that you think they will finish from #1 - #10.Example:1=weakdraw0 2=The Jest3=Chiefclint04=mrs_c5=Fidler06=Jerry Carmichael7=Loismustdi108=bigcountry9=shahmat010=JimmyHerreraThe higher you rank the player, the more points that player is eligible to get. You’ll multiply your players rank with the point total for their finish.Place Point Value:1st=102nd=93rd=84th=75th=66th=57th=48th=39th=210th=1So for example, if chiefclint0, your third ranked player, comes in 5th place, you’ll get 48 points from his finish (8x6=48)For tie breaker purposes, you should also include a guess at what you think the final hand of the main event will be. You must choose from the following categories:A. Ace high or worseB. One PairC. Two pairD. Three of a kindE. A straightF. A flushG. A full house or betterThe top three point holders will be eligible for prizes.Prizes:1st place will play in a NLHE heads up match at fullcontactpoker.com against the newly crowned protégé for a winner take all $1,000 grand prize. 2nd place will play in a NLHE heads up match at fullcontactpoker.com against the second place finisher in the protégé main event for a winner take all $400 prize. 3rd place will play in a NLHE heads up match at fullcontactpoker.com against the third place finisher in the protégé main event for a winner take all $200 prize. Rules for the pool:All entries must be submitted to promotions@fullcontactpoker.com before 12:00 PM EST Friday 4/28/06. Entries received after this date and time will not be included in the pool. You must have a player account at fullcontactpoker.com in order to participate in the pool. You must also include your login name for the FCP poker room and your full name when submitting your picksRules for the heads up matches:FCP will decide when the matches will take place. After the date and time has been selected for a match it can not be changed. If you miss the match you will automatically be disqualified and your opponent declared the winner.Other Tie breakers:Tie breaker 2:If still tied, the winner would be the one who’s #1 pick finished higherTie breaker 3:We will have a NLHE freeroll between anyone else tied at this point Good luck to everyone!

Any idea what the structure will be like? How long are the levels, starting stacks, etc? That would be helpful in choosing my picks.

The structure is going to be very good, I designed it. 30 minute levels which is fast, but VERY slow moving blinds. It should take about 6 hours to have a winner.

Entries are due by noon on Friday... the Protege thing is Sunday afternoon... I'm not sure where Friday night comes into the equation.

Pick your 1st place through 10th finishers. They will do all the math. There is no math required at this stage.

If you pick someone to finish 1st then there's 10If that same person then finishes 1st there's the other 1010x10=100 you would then receive 100 points and the same formula would be used for the rest of the placesHelp?
