You loved his acerbic wit and personality and Dickish ways but also wanted him to just once, do something nice or express his feelings. He couldn't.

You never realized that House = Holmes and Wilson = Watson? Or that House's diagnostic approach was Sherlock Holmes' inductive reasoning? Playing of instruments? How about Living in Apartment 221B?He will go down as one of the best written and acted characters in TV history - even if some of the storyline writing got so terrible in later seasons.

I guess it would have been hard to make a satisfying ending to a series like House.

I guess I still just don't find the Wilson dying thing to be anything but frustrating. Meh.
