been playing poker for a little over 2 years and sadly (or fortunately) this is my worst beat. happened over a year ago so some flop cards are unknown/forgotten. first hand of a house game we were playing i was dealt (Kh 3h) and made a flat call from the button. 3 players in on the flop (BB, cut-off, me). flop is (4h 5h 7h). BB checks and the cut-off bets 3x BB. i make a flat call and the BB check raises for 1500. cutoff flat calls this bet as do i. the turn brings out the 6h. check check check.(haha) river is forgotten/doesnt matter. BB bets out and the cut-off moves all in. i shake my head and turn over my straight flush saying i call. everyone gives a little gasp. much to the surprise of everyone at the table, the BB says "call" after seeing my hand turning over (6d 8h). as for the cut-off he only flopped the nut flush with (Ah Qh).ace high flush beat by 3-7 straight flush beat by 4-8 straight flush.not to great but its a good chuckle
SAM: what are you up to norm?
NORM: my ideal weight if i were 11 feet tall.
