2/4 live. table is relatively tight except seat 7 and 8 who are more aggressive.seat 7 raised preflop, and I called from CO with AJos. blinds folded. (5.5 SB)flop came A44 two diamonds. villan checked, i bet, he called. (7.5 SB)turn was a 3 non-diamond. villan checked, i bet, he raised, i 3 bet, he called (9.75 BB)river was a J, villan checked, i bet, he called. (11.75 BB)Should I have 3-bet the turn or just call the C-R?

AJo is not that great of a hand. It can too easily become the second best hand and you'll be forced into calling all the way down to the river, which could cost you an additional bet preflop that may not be all that effective.I think you should have called the check/raise. Otherwise, I think you played it right.

Villan tried to bluff me earlier on the river when I two pairs on a board with three to the flush and four to the straight. I thought villan was trying to bluff here again by C-R the turn after C-C the flop.

Let him keep bluffing then.

Okay I am going to let the cat out of the bag.I was the villan. I had AQos. Raised preflop. C-C flop when it came A44. C-R when a 3 came. I got very surprised when I got 3 betted after I C-R the turn. River was a J, and I pretty much put him on AJ or AT by that point and I mercifully C-C the river.
