Hand 1:Looks good. Are you calling a river bet UI?
A week ago I would have. Now I look at the pot size, think about my opponent, and refuse to let myself be value bet by a fish here.
Hand 2:I think I'm betting the river once I'm checked to.- Zach
Eh. The only hands he is calling with that I beat are small pairs. He is also never folding a better hand. And I think my question about the river on this hand was stupid, its an easy fold if he bets.

Hand one bet the turn. You might fold 1010 or 99 and it sucks giving a hand like KQ which has 10 outs a free card. This type of opponent isnt going to bluff with a checkraise so the hand is easy to play. Also checking and folding the river UI would suck.Hand 2 I bet the turn. Sure the board sucks but he can have all sorts of nonsense. Sucks Giving Kx or Ax a free card.

How bad can giving free cards really be in pots this small when we are behind a pretty good precent of the time?

anyone else fold both hands to the preflop raises?i want 88 in a cheap multiway pot, not in an expensive HU pot.
88 is way to strong to fold, especially to lp open raises. calling sucks because you're giving the blinds a good price to come in and mid pp's don't fair well multi-way.raising isolates the initial raiser, gives you a ton of fold equity.pretty standard raise imo.

Playing 88 here depends on the raiser. The stats of these two indicate either loose or lag enough to make the 3-bet correct. Some players I'd fold against.Calling would not be good.I was thinking to Bet/Fold both turns as well

Why? To get him to fold better hands or to call with worse?

ok...Han1: Betting turn: May fold a better PP, charge Kx. Easy fold if raised. Take free SD.Hand 2: W/o an ace, he has a tough call to make. Also, you have no SD value, so I'd like to get a better hand to fold here.as played, river is easy fold if he bets
