I would like some input on this hand. I didn't have many reads on my opponents as I recently sat down. From what I saw though, both opponents made some marginal calls of large bets making me think it was a juicy table...not much else...sorry. My gut feeling was that the Button was more of a donk than SB and his range could be wider, including overcards or a draw.

Paradise Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)

UTG ($108.30)
MP ($77.25)
Button ($148.40)
SB ($125.20)
Hero ($78.00)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 3 icon_suit_heart.gif , 7 icon_suit_diamond.gif . SB posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG calls $1, 1 fold, Button calls $1, SB (poster) completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($4) 3 icon_suit_diamond.gif , 7 icon_suit_spade.gif , 6 icon_suit_diamond.gif (4 players)
SB bets $2.5, Hero raises to $12, UTG folds, Button calls $12, SB calls $9.50.

Turn: ($40) K icon_suit_heart.gif (3 players)
SB checks...

Ok..I figured my hand to be good on the flop and raised to try to end it there. My one fear was that someone with an overpair would get giddy and decide to reraise/push forcing me to make a loose call. But that didn't happen...instead I got smooth called in two places.

What should I do on the turn? Should I protect against the flush? Note my stack size. It is a little more than the pot, so maybe all-in is equal to betting the Pot. If I bet less(lets say $20) would I call or fold to a push from either player?

Bet it hard. You can't afford to play it weak at this point, especially if he is hoping to get a cheep peek at the river for his flush, or catches a better 2p. Be ready to fold if he plays back at you.

Dealer: The bet's 5000 to you, Mr. Negreanu is all-in.
Lil' Jon: WHAT?
Dealer: 5000 to you sir
Lil' Jon: WHAT?
Dealer: The bet is 5000. Would you like to call?
Lil' Jon: The pot is laying me almost 5 to 1 on my money, so while I think I need to hit my flush to call this gentleman's bet, I'm getting the proper odds.
Dealer: You call?
Lil Jon: YEAAHHHH

ok....so that was my question. How much would you bet? I have about $65 left and the pot is $40. Are you betting an amount that you can fold to a raise or an amount that pot-commits you? If you bet a foldable amount and a flush card comes, is it check/fold? Maybe this is a pretty basic hand, but I felt pretty lost as to what to bet. If it was only me vs. SB, I wouldn't even worry about the flush and put a normal to smaller sized bet, and fold to raises.

I guess let me add what I ended up doing. I thought about betting the pot, but decided that it would pot-commit me, so I just went all-in. $65. People were making loose calls, so I figure a K will call, and maybe a 7, with these donks. A flush draw might call too getting a poor price, since he might think he had overcards.

I feel like I overplayed it though, so I was looking for input. Can I bet $20, fold to raises, and let the river come relatively cheap? Or am I kinda committed to going all the way with this hand anyways? Can I bet $40? I feel I would just stick the rest in though, because it is 5-max and the range of calling hands is quite high.

Unelss, you have some one as a rock here, you're committed to seeing it to the end. I'd be tempted to push here, just because I don't want to bet an amount the button can call easily thereby making the SB have an easy call if he's drawing. I think the difference here is slim tho. Betting an amount that you could fold afterwards would be silly.

I feel you cannot afford to give them a free card.

I agree with your assessment that no one is laying down a K if they have one, and you have at least one drawing hand against you.

In more cases than not, the calls don't show alot of strength.

Push the turn - its a great card for you.
