Throughout my years of playing poker I have learned how not to tilt. It's not that I don't tilt... because I do... it's just that I will never ever be at a table (online or otherwise) while on tilt.That being said I purposefully act on tilt at times.PREFACE TO BAD BEAT: (hand prior)$2/$5 200 max buy NLI limp with QJ to an unraised potFlop is 7 9 Q I bet $20, get 2 callers.Turn is 7 .I bet out $30. Get two callers.River is 9 I check. Player on my left (in the hand) is a gambler, and probaly the best player at the table. Already tonight I have beat him out of two hands. One by way of making a similar call. He bets $90.Other player folds.My gut told me to call. He was talking a bunch of trash and I called the hand almost correctly in saying (it looks more like a botched straight draw with J10os). At that moment he leans way back in his chair... I muck. Leaning back is a very basic tell that you have a strong hand. He obviously knew this since he flips over 86os. The other OESD... doh.I'm not mad, I quietly get prepared for the next hand which is dealt VERY quickly. I am now UTG+1. Lo' & Behold I look down at AA. Now I start to up my table talk. "86os... wtf man... how the hell can you bet $90 with nothing!?" I pretend to look on tilt because I have just been dealt the perfect hand for the situation that just occured.I say "**** it... I'm on tilt," and I toss out a raise (not enough though) of $30.I get no less than 4 callers.Flop comes 353.I'm first to act and I bet all-in. One lady calls (puts her all in) and another guy raises all-in (SB).SB flips over 35os.Lady has QQ.I can deal with the beat, but that situation was picturesque and I blew it. Hell... I should have just pushed all in preflop (max bet $200) and I guarantee that QQ would have called. I didn't raise enough pre-flop.
