Hello DanielWhen, & where are the owners/ operators of Poker Mountain going to start promoting the site? As it is now its deader than five week old road kill... even with you and TJ playing.I'd really like to see the site do well... but... ... ...Thumper

I believe Ive seen a few ads for it in card player magazine. I think the reason its not getting alot of action is because the graphics are a bit remedial.

i like the site it may not be all fancy, but i go to online sites for to play poker not the looks of the software. i think once word gets around more that the site will pick up and more people will play, but i do agree the site is kinda plain, but thats nto important to me. yes some people look for that so i can see how some might not play there...and yes i see it in every cardplayer mag i get in the mail...

I think the reason that there isn't a lot of people on the site is because most people that I talk to or read on forums say this "I will play once they get more people". Well if most people are saying that then there won't be a lot of people playing on the site until they offer some kind of 150% deposit bonus for the w h o r e s out there.

If he whored himself out and played live on the site for 8 hours a day for 2 weeks, plus, upgrade those graphics.I know it doesnt affect the game in anyway, but I enjoy things that are aesthetically pleasing just like the next guy. If Im going to play at a site for 6 hours, I dont want to stare at dull graphics the whole time. This is the great thing about sites like full-tilt, they are very expressive with their graphics/avatars, a big hook is the fact that you can display 4 different types of emotions. This doesnt affect the game, but it does affect the amount of people you draw IMHO. Look at all the big name sites out there right now, party, pokerroom, full-tilt, true poker, poker stars, just about all of them with the exception of poker-stars have a 3d room with 3d players. poker-stars may not have 3d players but it does allow you to select your own avatar if you choose to do so. Is it a coincidence that all of these sites are successful and have good/decent graphics? I dont think so.

i guess im in the minority, i prefer plain graphics as long as the site is fast...pm is fast, and i can live with the colorscheme and graphics , as they do not matter to me
Good times for a change
See, the luck I've had
Can make a good man
Turn bad

So please please please
Let me, let me, let me
Let me get what I want
This time

Haven't had a dream in a long time
See, the life I've had
Can make a good man bad

So for once in my life
Let me get what I want
Lord knows, it would be the first time
Lord knows, it would be the first time

i've been playing at PM for the past couple of weeks and i notice little by little people are starting to show some interest and start to play some real money games.. the only problem that i have with the site is that it does not give you a time extension. when u have a differcult decision to make and you need some extra time to think things out the time will expire pretty fast and your hand would be muck... hopefully they could fix that.. peace out joel

I'm with you... I don't care about the graphics... in fact, Full Tilt kind of annoys me. It's easy see what you're doing, and that's the most important to me. If you've ever played at one of the sites with so much going on... you know what I mean. There is so much crap around your screen you can't even focus on who is betting or checking, and lose a lot of focus. As for them changing things... They are adding new stuff all the time, so it's still a work in progress. They just added a sweet deal making feature to tournaments... and they assured me there is more cool stuff on the way. Give it a little time.

I'm not a fan of peeps & whistles either. I keep the avatars turned off at Fulltilt and have uninstalled true poker because it's just too slow and annoying.
