The Format
Within the next few days(Ending April 19th 12:00 CST) we will have a signup for regular contributors to either the Army or the Hideout(basically just post here or pm me). When signing designate who you're representing, and the top three games that you'd want to play HU in. We will try to pair you with somebody with the same choices but there are no guarantees. There's obviously more Army people than Hideout people, so it will probably be cut off to the first army signups depending on how many hideout people sign up. If you are an army member not chosen for the HU matches you can still qualify for the Main Event.
Once paired you will have 1 week to complete your game, the players will be responsible for finding a time that works and posting/pm'ing me the result. If the game is not played in the 1 week timeframe it will be forfeited and no points will be given. If all the games are completed before the 1 week timeline we will start the 2nd round early, so on and so on.
One point for every win will be given to the team that the player is representing. After the 3 rounds are up we will have the winning team. There will be individual prizes(hopefully) giving for the Overall best record, and/or Best/2nd Best Hideout Record, and/or Best/2nd Best Army record so the same person doesn't get 2 prizes.
Once the HU matches are done, we will have a MTT tourney Main Event, most likely $5 or $10 buy-in for all the players.
The matches will be played at FCP for either Real or Play money, up to the players because we don't want to exclude people who don't play for real money.
The games will be:
Hold'em(limit or nolimit)
Omaha(pl or limit)
Omaha 8/b (pl, nl or limit)
7 card stud
7 card stud 8/b
So I think that's it for now. This tourney is only open for regular contributors to the 2 threads. If you notice somebody signed up that isn't a regular contributor please let me know! Let the sign up's begin!

Well it's up to the players if it's for real money or not. Theres like 1 or 2 hideout people that are only play money and we don't wanna leave them out. I'm game for real money.

bragging rights? WHen was this idea hatched in the first place. I'm not gonna even bother for 5 or 10 bucks either. This seems rather silly to me to be honest

If there's 35 Army folks who want to participate, and 10 Hideout folks.. Is it just the first 10 people to sign up?

I'll probably just put the names in a hat and draw them out. But by the looks of it this thing probably won't even go down.
It was a while back and pupsta was the person communicating to us what the army thought of the idea. He said there were a few people interested, even if for little money but idk.

AND IT HAS TO BE FOR REAL MONEY

Even if it's for $5 per match, it has to be for real money.

I agree, but it will be hard for the hideout to get a lot of people unless we figure out some sort of staking system.

yeah, i'm down, real or play money, doesn't matter. sounds like a fun thing. NLHE, PLO8, LO8 are my 3 games of choice...if it's still going down that is
i don't mind having every match for real money except for the ones against the 2 or 3 that don't play for real $ in the hideout.

I understand that its hard to play for play money but you could try because it would be for bragging rights.
I'd love to take a shot at some army members and i'm down for some real money. It would be fun.
Mark me down for some real money NLH then my next game is 7 card stud, and O8.

I WOULD stake some hideout players but I can't transfer money for another like month or so.
