So I goto this party because there will be poker there. 20 buyin plus unlimiited re buys. First hand I quad up when I hit the nut straight with AK on th turn. So I play for 5 or 6 hours and the pot is huge - 700 for first, 350 for second, etc.It gets heads up with me and this dude who has never played poker before. I'm thinkin to myself I am going to destroy this guy. He is so done. So anyways, I go all in with A-q on the flop (Q-2-4) This guy calls wiht j-5 off suit. I'm like, you need runners. He hits a J on the turn and rivers a 5. So he is now 10 chip up on me.Next hand, I'm a little on tilt, but whatever. 4 4 on the button, so I raise and he re raises. So I figure he has either A K, K K A A, Q Q, J J - top ten hands. So i reason to just call because if I hit my 4, I will win. The dealer burns and flips the first card, an A. I'm like great, I gotta fold now. But the next two cards are 4 and another 4. I'm shitting. This guy is first to act and goes all in. I almost have a heart attackand call so quickly. I turn over my hand. 4 4's. This guy has 6 6. yeah 6 6. So I'm like running 6's will save you buddy. He's lik I thought I could bluff you. Anyways, the dealer burns and turns a 6. My hairs stand up and I shiver. Burn and rivers... 6 of diamonds. I have four 4's and he has four 6's. Didn't play for like a month after that night. At least I got 350 dollars, but man I consider that the luckiest thing I have ever seen and the unluckiest thing that's ever happened to me!!!
the king of bad beats

This happened to me a month ago last week!!!I have QJ suited spades in the poker scars 5+rebuy qualifier to Sundays' 500 000K guaranteed tourney (poker stars again). I raise pre flop out of BB and I get 2 callers including teh SB. I had 36 000 in chips (chip leader) and I had 20 000 more than the guy who was last to act. Flop is 10 9 of spades and a red king. So I have the nut straightalready and the flush/straight flush draw. SB checks, I check my monster . Guy bets out 800 (blinds are 200 400 anter 50). Guy in SB calls. So I raise (check raise) to make it 2000. Guy who is last to act goes all in. SB folds, I obviously all. I laught when I see the guy has A-10 os. HHe didn't even have top pair. Turn card 10. River 10. I still cannot believe that it happened (internet poker is painful!!!). After I ask the guy why he called and he says "I thought you were on a draw". Than he has the neverve to say that my hand wasn't even that good. I lose it and tell hi he is clearly a bad player. He tells me to f**k off, so I got his chat revoked. Anyways 22 qualified and even though I was on such tilt, I still had 16 000 in chips which allowed me to qualify for Sunday. After this, I truly believe I am the unluckiest player since this seems to happen to me on a regular basis.

December poker scars painSo i enter this $2 + unlim. rebuys turbo (blinds go up every 5 minutes so it gets cut throat) tourney on Poker Stars (SCARS). If I qaulified, I get a 33 ticket into the $33 + rebuys. The tourney started at 12:30Am. If you win this tourney you win a ticket to the poker stars carribean adventure at the atlantis resort in the BAHAMAS!!! The seat is worth $10 000 and they give you $1000. So anways, I play for 7 hours without rebuying or adding on cause that's the way I do it (through hard work). So there were originally 755 peeps in the tourney and it gets down to 3. I have about $950 000 in chips. Chip leader has $1 050 000 in chips. and the other guy has $150 000. Blinds are maxed at $20 000/ $40 000 ante $4000. First gets the seat guaranteed, but the prize pool was huge so second gets $6000 (not too shabby). I'm on the button and I get K K. So of course I raise to $150 000. Short stack folds. Guy in BB with over a million in chips raises to $300 000. So I put him on top 10 hands (AA AK QQ, KK, JJ, 1010, 99, 88, 77 or AQ). So i figured if he has an ace, I should not let him catch it. SO i make it $600 000 pre flop. After alot of pondering he just calls .Flop comes down A 2 K. I'm shitting myself. He is first to act and goes all in. I call. He shows A K suited. For about 6 second was the happiest I have ever been in my entire life. I had reached nirvana when I saw that I had him beat. Turn card was a 4. River............ACE. My heart sank and I could not believe what had just happened. He has 2 outs on the river (black aces) and he hit one. Anways I got nothing for 9 hard hours of work. Next hand they both go all in and the guy with 146 000 loses. The guy with A K felt so bad for me. He and I talked for like an hour after about thehand and tried to calculate the odds, but since it was now 8:30 AM we stopped. Anways the guy came 6th in the WPT event (serb1234 on poker stars). First place got $900 000 American, yes that much!!

the other day I was trying to show two of my buddies that I don't need cards to beat them. These guys are the tightest players in the world. First here's a back round hand of how tight these guys. I once limped on the button with Jc-9c. Flop was J 10 10. Both these guysare in the hand with me. They both check to me and I bet out 10 chips (blinds are 1-2). My buddy(call him Lima) thinks a bit and looks at his cards, than proceeds to fold. My other buddy (call him Tina) folds quickly. Lima tells me he doesn;t want to draw to straight with the board pair. Tina tells me I had him. So I Show him a jack and he shows me 10-5. I'm like dude you layed down trips? That's the only thing I wanna see with 10-5. He says, "I thought you had me outkicked!"Back to my beat.I didn't even look at my cards and since I was in position I raised. My buddy re raises me so I call blinds and said, I'll out play you later just by betting. Flop is 10 6 7 all different suits. Lima checks it to me. I bet 3 times the BB. he raises me all in. I tell him now is a good time to look at my cards. I tell him he can too. First card I flip is a 7. I say oh, middle pair. Next one 10. I tell him good ole Negreanu. I CALL!!!!!! He turns of A-2os. He says" I thought you were bullshittin!!! I guess I love dealing myself the pain cause the turn was a 2 and the river an ace. I don't think I deserved that pain, but whatever I'm used to it.

I was playing against the tightest players in the world when this happened... I dunno how you can get aways from this oneI held A-6 os on BB. NO raise pre flop, so I check. Flop come is 6-4-3 all of spades. I hold the ace of spades. SB bets and I raise him. He just calls. Turn Spade. He bets and I go all in. He calls. I show my ace and say "THA NUTS!!!" He shows me 5-7 of spades.
