Unless he somehow reads JackKing for garbage, he doesnt have a call to the push, so he has no reason to be angry. Against 22+, AT+ he is a 60:40 dog and doesnt have near the odds to call the push with almost no dead money in the pot.

Alright another hand.

We were all in the money.

Reads? No, I was moved from table to table.

I had 45k utg+1 and villain had <4k Utg+2. Blinds were 200/400.

I picked up AA and raised it to 1600, villain called. Only both of us saw the flop.

Flop 89T with a flush draw.

I?

If I made any bets I would be priced in and villain's stack was low and committed as well?

Edited, actually I didn't care what villain had since his stack was so low. I bet out $1k and he moved in with his rest. I called.

He had 88. Turn was another Ace.

I sucked him out.

My real question was, I played it right, right?

You cant price him out of his possible straight/flush or both draws on the flop. I would check and let him semi-bluff into me and call it. If he checks behind and the turn is a safe card push, since it prices out at least one of the river draws.

AK strikes again!

Thanks for the opinion. I appreciate it.

Anyway I enjoyed more Lo8 tournaments than the others. I don't play too many tournaments so I've played only three lo8 tournaments so far. I won one, second for another, and ITM for the 3rd. My thoughts from those tournies, be more aggressive and be a hustler. In the early stage I play it like a cash game (nut peddling). But after the mid stages, I picked up a lot of pots when I know my villains missed the flop. For example, the flop was 9KT and I know villains were rasing with A2 low hands, I just kept raising with nothing and get them folded. Many weak players kept calling until the river and folded to a single bet (in that case I knew they were chasing for the boat for a 9KT flop even I had nothing). It had some variances but not much (In those tournaments I was either chip lead or close to most of the time, even I lost one big pot I still got chips to come back), but when I picked up a real hand I got paid off handsomely.

Just want to share my thoughts, weak-tight manner really has no place in tournament business. And the beauty of limit tournaments is you get to play a lot post flops.
