Raise on the flop to knock out SB, and take a free card on the turn..
I have a feeling I should just b/f the turn and take a free SD if I don't improve.

I don't like the flop, why are you trying to knock sb out of the hand? The only way you're cleaning up outs is if he has A3 or A4, but if he called out of the sb with these hands he's probably not going anywhere on the flop. By raising you risk getting 3-bet by either sb or UTG or one of them may donk the turn anyway.
I would call the flop and re-evaluate on the turn
With the line you took though I think it's better to check the turn and fold the river UI then to bet/fold the turn

I would call a bet on the flop, call a bet on the turn, and probablly call a bet on the river. This is a good board to bluff so UTG doesn't have to have anything.
