Look under the File->Auto Import Hand Histories . . . Generic Setup (or whatever specific site you want to configure). Do that setup. Then look at file->Ring Game statistics.

Yell if you have any specific problems.

I just started using Poker Tracker.

First time and I've been playing for little over 2 years now...

Question about nl and how it stats bb/100..

at $100 Nl if your bb/100 is 25, does that mean you are winning $25/100, or $50/100?

I guess I'm a little confused....I know in limit it measures by Big bets...but at no limit how does it do it?

like for some reason in 100 NL on my stats sheet it says:

winrate per 100 hands: $33
Big bets won per 100 hands: 16.5

so wouldn't my bb/100 = 33? and not 16.5...forgive for noob question. only played like 350 hands..with it so far

Pokertracker figures twice the big blind as a "big bet" for the bb/100 figure. It's just a bit of limit poker cruft.

i know that for limit..but for nl...right now my winrate per 100 hands is $40, and my bb/100 hands is 20..at $100nl

so my bb/100 is really "40" right? 40bb/100 = $40/100

?

or is it the 20...

sorry.

. . . it's the same. A poker tracker bb is twice the big blind. End of story.

Your big blind is $1.
A bb is twice the big blind.
bb = 2 x (big blind)
bb = 2 x $1
bb = $2

$40/100 hands * (1 bb / 2$) = 20 bb / 100 hands

There is a pokertracker forum as well with all sorts of good info:

http://www.pokertracker.com/forum/

A few other good sites related to PT:

Gametime + plugin forum:
http://www.pokerdominion.com/viewforum.php...ed07530ab61b52e

Multi part article on how to use PokerTracker well:
http://www.bet-the-pot.com/poker-tracker-p...one-page31.html

Also in that article are a few player categorization files you can import into pokertracker to rate players.
