I am heading up to the Detroit/Windsor on Thursday night and wanted to play some cards that night. I am looking for $10-$20 limit or a $100-$200 max NLH game. For those who have been to both rooms, which one would you go to based on the rake/seat charge and competition. Also, is there alot of traffic on Thursday nights and how late can I expect the game to last? Thanks in advance!

I personally like Windsor better. They usually have a couple active $100max games going on. I play 3/6 limit so not sure what other limits they have other than 5/10 and 15/30. Plus with the exchange rate is a nice added bonus right now. They take a rake at Windsor and I think they charge per half hour at GT.
Edit: oops, found this regarding their 100 max

The most common games there are 3/6 limit, which has a 10% 5 dollar max rake, and the $100 max NL, which has 1/2 blinds and, like you heard, a 6 dollar session fee every half hour. No rake for that though. On weekends and/or if the demand is there, they have 5/10 (usually always have at least one 5/10) and 200 max NL (never played it, don't really know the blinds or session fee).

Steve,
It doesn't matter who you start because you have a horse shoe up your ass so far I'm not really sure how you get through the day. You must be gay.

Thanks alot for the advice. I will check Windsor out. That 1/2 seat charge rate is unbelievable.

Didn't get this in time, but hope you hit Greektown.
Either way, how was your trip?
