$25 NL Party 6-HandedStacks:Hero $60Villian $28Hero dealt AAFold, Fold, Fold, Hero raises to $1, SB folds, Villian callsPot $2.15Flop: K, 9, 6 rainbowVillian checks, Hero bets $1.25, Villian is all-in ($26 and change), Hero ???The only read I had is he played a similiar hand where he went all in with flush draw/straight draw and lost. But I don't think he was a total idiot, just a semi idiot.I can't say I put him on a range of hands, but my thought was I really don't have any idea if my AA was good.I took the full time but I eventually folded cause I had no idea what he was doing.Your thoughts?

I dunno man, I'm getting the same type of shelling with AK in the low limit cash games.I'm calling here. I have to believe that if you were able to isolate this scenario...As in: you have aces, your opponent has a hand he'll call a raise with (random), and the flop is exactly the same each time, you're going to be ahead much more than half the time.

the 4x preflop raise was standard and I got what I wanted 1 caller.I think I agree/disagree that post flop was bad... I can see the argument for calling as you guys are right, he's just as likely to have KJ or KQ than trips however, how do you really know where you are at on a hand like this?I will say that my decision to fold on this hand was skewed by the thought, "I'm up $35 on this table and if I call and lose, I'm only up $5"I guess I got scared and if I lost, I wouldn't have beer money for the weekend :club: Thanks for the feedback

I think depending on them, there are a ton of hands that they could have hadI don't put any of these out of possibles to call a raise, and being the big blind, even more so69s K9s K6s $35 loss to win a $1 investment? I think you find a better place and hope they do it again

There aren't many places that are much better than this one. I burn the table putting my chips in the pot and expect to see a pair of kings.Against a bad player, I would be really surprised to find out I am behind. Anything better than a pair I don't think gets played this fast. I would instead expect a bunch of hollywooding and attempts at tricky play from someone with two pair or a set. If I lose this hand, rebuy and remember this hand.
